Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is a management entrance test that is conducted annually for admitting the students for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) programs of the self financing private institutes. Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Associations invites application for KMAT for academic year 2012 to fill the management quota of seats in the member institutions across Karnataka.
Candidate with any graduate�s Degree of min 3 years duration after 10+2 stream, in any discipline from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all the subjects are essential in order to apply for KMAT 2012. Candidates With Background like Commerce, arts, science, engineering, management, technology will be given preference.
There will be 3 sections in the exam with 40 questions each. Consist of 120 questions in total which have to be attempted in 120 minutes. The 3 sections are � language comprehension, Mathematical Skills & Basic Aptitude.
There will be 4 sections with 40 questions in each section. The Exam Duration is 160 Minutes for 160 questions. The sections are � Language comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Basic aptitude & Logical reasoning.
Applications form can be obtained in any of the participating colleges by Paying Rs.50. Candidate can download applications from Website www.kmatindia.com. The duly filled in applications along with a demand draft of Rs.500/- ( for either MBA / MCA ) or Rs. 600/- for both, in favour of KMAT 2012 payable at Bangalore, should reach to The Secretary - KMAT-2012 on or before 16th July, 2012.
