Annamalai University B.Sc.Entrance Exam

This exam is conducted by Annamalai University with the aim of admitting candidates in B.Sc agriculture and B.Sc horticulture colleges coming under this university. This exam is meant for candidates who have passed plus two. Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University accepts the score cards of this entrance exam.

• The candidate must pass this plus two or equivalent with following subjects:
• Mathematics or Botany or Biology as first subject
• Physics as second subject
• Chemistry as third subject
• One elective as fourth subject

• The candidates who have studied mathematics as their first subject should have taken computer science or biology or statistics or biochemistry or home science as their elective.
• The candidate who studied botany as their first subject should have taken zoology as their elective.
• The candidate who studied biology as their first subject should have taken microbiology or biochemistry or nursing or nutritional dietetics or computer science as their elective.

The exam comprises of objective type questions only with multiple choices. The correct answer will be given as one of the options. It has three sections including chemistry, biology and mathematics. Syllabus includes various topics covered under these heads. The results will be available at the university website and they issue a score card and the validity of the score card is twelve months.

The candidates can purchase the form from Registrar of Annamalai University by paying the prescribed fees. There is also an option to get the form by post by sending a DD of mentioned amount in the name of the registrar. The fees varies depending on the category.
