Two free training programmes for SC, ST candidates

Chennai: Shortly Coaching-cum-Guidance Centre for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes under the Union Ministry of Labour and

Employment would start two free training programmes.
A press release said that a one-year computer course and an 11-month special coaching programme comprising typewriting, shorthand, English,

computer science and maths was being offered for SC/ST candidates.

While those have passed Plus Two are eligible for the one-year course, candidates who have passed Standard X can apply for the 11-month

course. Candidates of the 11-month course would get a stipend of Rs.500.
