20 students from J&K visit Southern Naval Command

Twenty boys from Jammu and Kashmir, escorted by their teachers, visited the Southern Naval Command here today as part of an exercise to expose them to the persity, progress and strength of their country.
 
The boys, aged between 10-12, are on an all India tour under the aegis of the Indian Army, a Defence press release said. Five personnel from the Army, including an Officer are accompanying the children. The students and their teachers
were hosted by Southern Naval Command during their stay at Kochi. They also visited the Ezhimala Naval Academy at Kannur.
 
At Kochi,the students were taken around places of interest, including Athirappilly waterfalls, Bolgatty Palace, Hill Palace Museum and Marine Drive. In addition, the boys also visited INS Sarvekshak of Southern Naval Command. The children left by train for Agra today.
