97 unaided schools receives notice

Jaipur: In issue of not sharing financial details with the government-constituted committee seeking in to fee hike, all the 97 unaided schools received a show cause notice from education department.

Stern action will be taken against the school who fail to respond education department in time,said RP Jain, principal secretary.

Of the 357 unaided schools, only 250 submitted their financial details to the committee.

The schools that had not shared their accounts with the committee are premier ones, Jain said.

Gross irregularities came to light during the assessment. Some schools have huge surpluses on their accounts, which could go against their demand for a fee hike, said a committee member.
