ANITS inks MoU with JIGSAW Bio

Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS) entered into a MoU with Bangalore-based JIGSAW Bio Solutions. This was announced at the valedictory function of ANIJIG-MATICS, a three-day national workshop held by the Department of Biotechnology here on Monday.

The Bangalore-based company deals with applied research and consultancy in the fields of bioinformatics and bio-pharma.

As per the MoU the firm will organise guest lectures, refresher courses, workshops and seminars for the students of the college and in return ANITS will extend its services for consultancy works.

The Principal of the college V.S.R.K. Prasad, Founder Director of JIGSAW Bio Solutions L. Srinivasa Rao and Swetha Kamath, Senior Research Associate of Biocon Limited, were present.

The workshop was attended by over 180 students and 25 faculty members from various colleges.

Campus drive

HCL Technologies will conduct a pool campus drive on Thursday at Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College for recruiting technical support officers.

The placement drive is open to graduates and post graduates from any discipline.

According to the Dean of Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college N.S. Sinha, students with good communication skills and willing to work in night shifts and relocate to Chennai can register their names with the placement cell on or before Thursday.
