UP govt to honour nine teachers

On the occasion of Teacher's Day, state secondary education department will honour nine teachers from the state who have done excellent work in 2010.

The names of teachers who will be honoured include Kaniz Zohra Begum Rizvi, principal, PD Girls Inter College, Sant Kabir Nagar; Uma Kant Shukla, assistant teacher, Government Inter College, Rae Bareli; Awadh Raj Singh, principal, Lalita Inter College, Siddharthnagar; Uma Shankar Yadav, lecturer, Ganna Vikas Inter College, Basti; Lal Bahadur, teacher, Hindi Inter College, Faizabad; Ran Bahadur Singh, principal, Sri Hanslal Inter College, Basti; Sri Narayan Lal, lecturer, Sri Anumat Inter College, Sultanpur; Adarsh Bala, lecturer, Prabha Devi Kanya Inter College, Moradabad, and Uma Srivastava, lecturer, DIET, Gorakhpur.
