Three BMC Junior colleges to be opened this academic year
On behalf of Vel Tech University, its Vice-Chancellor Mahalakshmi Rangarajan K and Pro-Chancellor Sakunthala Rangarajan signed the memorandum of understanding on with CINVESTAV's general director Jose Pablo Rene Asomosa Y Palacio and international relations coordinator Velumani Subramaniam.
With total of 28 research departments and offering 52 postgraduate programmes, the CINVESTAV provides 22 programmes of international level.
As per the agreement research and academice activietes would be carried out in spheres like sustainable energy, micro systems and nanotechnology, biotechnology and biomedical engineering and electrical engineering.
According to the MoU, CINVESTAV is offering scholarships to Vel Tech's Masters students to carry out their projects.
The student of Vel Tech will be given preference for admission to various programmes at CINVESTAV at the Masters and doctoral levels.
