Computer education in LP and UP schools in Kerala

As part of extending computer education in government schools, more than 9355 government aided lower primary and upper primary schools would be provided with broadband connectvity within three months, State Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb said.
 
Most of the schools had been provided with computer and other facilities, Rabb told reporters while annoucing the Teacher's Award for the year 2010-2011.
 
Computer education also would be started this year itself, he said.
 
Nine Higher Secondary Teachers from Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode regions were selected for the award.
 
The award would be presented on Teachers's day on September 5 at a function to be held at Mallapuram, he said
