Orissa Lalit Kala Akademi Award for Swadha

A class eight student of Ispat English Medium School here will be awarded by Orissa Lalit Kala Akademi for her excellence in Art.
 
Swadha Mohanty, daughter of R S Mohanty, Deputy Manager (Finance) of Rourkela Steel Plan (RSP) is a well known name in the artistic fraternity of Orissa.
 
Apart from painting, Swadha has mastered the art of glass painting, pottery, craft activities, doll making and lot more.
 
She will be awarded at a state level function of the akademi on August 16 at Bhubaneswar, akademi sources said.
