New VCs appointed for three state universites

Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of state universities B L Joshi appointed vice chancellors for three state universities.
 
Vice chancellors were appointed in Uttar Pradesh Rajshri Tandon Open University (UPRTOU), Allahabad, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSMU), Kanpur and Sampurnand Sanskrit University, Varanasi.
 
While Prof AK Bakshi, Head of Chemistry Department, University of Delhi has been appointed VC of UP RTOU, Prof Ashok Kumar of Zoology department of Rajasthan has been made VC of CSMU, Principal Secretary G Patnaik said.
 
Prof Binda Prasad Mishr of Oriental Sanskrit department Lucknow University has been made VC of SSU, he said.
