Laurus Edutech, the Chennai based skill development company will implement its skill technology application called LEAP (Laurus Edutech Application Platform) for all the vocational training centres of ITCOT through its wholly owned subsidiary Quibus Technologies.
ITCOT Consultancy and Services Limited, a joint venture of banks and state financial institutions is embarking on vocational training projects to be spread across south India and train students across 60 plus centres.
Mr. Srinivas Rao Cheedella, Managing Director of Laurus Edutech said, "With over 500 centres operating on LEAP, it probably is one of the leading skill technology platforms in the country. With several centres and students under LEAP, it is a great repository for LMIS, cross dimensional views of information and other instant decision making support. We were grappling for a solution that could get us quickly started and we found it in LEAP."
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nageswaran, Managing Director of ITCOT said, "This is a big project and involves training over 7500 students. Right from the beginning we wanted to closely monitor and track our vocational training management across all these centres. LEAP will also help us view the progress online real time from anywhere across the globe. We are happy to engage Laurus Edutech for this purpose and found the desired solution in their product LEAP."
