Vacant posts of teachers in primary and secondary schools in Rajasthan would be filled within the next six months, state Education Minister Bhanwar Lal Meghwal said.
The process to recruit 20,000 teachers was underway and 9,000 teachers of III grade would also be recruited in the near future through the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Meghwal said speaking at a function in Jhunjhunu district.
He also called upon the rural people to send their children, especially girls, to schools.
