St. Cyril's College, Adoor, and the University Grants Commission will jointly organise a three-day national seminar on ‘Cryogenics, Nano Technology and Super Conductivity' from July 22 to 26.
In a statement here on Wednesday, John M. George, Principal, said Adoor MLA Chittayam Gopakumar would inaugurate the seminar, to be held in the college auditorium on Friday.
Zacharias Mar Aprem, college manager, will deliver the benedictory speech.
George Varghese Koppara, Mahatma Gandhi University Syndicate member, will deliver the keynote address.
B. Premlette of the TKM College of Engineering in Kollam, Jijimon K. Thomas, Sam Solomon, both of Mar Ivanios College in
Thiruvananthapuram, and N. Jayan, scientist with the Indian Space Research Organisation, will deliver lectures on different topics.
As many as 200 teachers and students are expected to attend the seminar, the Principal said.
