As per the new regulation, post graduates need not go to Chennai or Madurai for registering their master degrees in employment office as they could register their master degress in their respective districts .

For long years, students having completed their M.phil, Ph.d and Post graduate degrees, had to go to Chennai or Madurai employment offices for registering process. As per the new government order, they need not do so, as all employment offices have been computerised. As a result, students can register and renew through online.

According to coimbatore deputy employment office director Gnanasekaran, 'Earlier, post graduate students needed to go to Chennai or Madurai for registering their degrees. Now, as all employment offices in state have been computerised, students can register their degrees in their respective districts. The government has issued a new order on this. But students, registering for the first time in employment office, will have to approach employment office through online with necessary documents like Provisional certificate, Ration card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, community certificate, Transfer certificate'.
