Delhi Technological University declared its first list of admissions on Tuesday for its 15 BTech programmes. This year, the university has adopted the online admission system under which the candidates were required to register online. A total of 10,827 candidates registered for online counselling for admission to 1,218 seats in DTU.
DTU has 85% seats reserved for Delhi candidates while 15% seats are reserved for candidates from outside Delhi. All admissions in DTU are being made on the basis of the all India merit rank in the AIEEE 2011.
According to the cut-off released, students between 562 and 3,608 AIEEE ranks can apply for electronics and communication engineering, while aspirants between 55 to 2,297 ranks can seek admission to computer engineering. Another popular branch is mechanical engineering where students with a rank between 89 and 4,905 can seek admission.
