Students from a school here are set to visit China and Hong Kong after winning at 'China Light Power - Young Power 2011 Project Competition', held at Paguthan near here.
Teams from Tejas Vidyalaya here and Chandrabala Mody Acadmy of Ankleshwar, Bharuch would get the opportunity to visit China and Hong Kong.
CLP India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CLP group, a Hong Kong-based company.
CLP Young Power programme (CYPP), a youth leadership development programme organised by CLP, was kicked off in Ahmedabad in May this year.
Through a series of activity-based thematic learnings, the programme helps equip future leaders with leadership skills to address complex social and environmental challenges, a release from the company said here.
As a part of the competition, teams of secondary school students from India, Hong Kong and mainland China submitted project proposals on how to live a low-carbon emission life.
