Registration continues for the pre-admission guidance programmes being conducted by The Hindu-EducationPlus at three centres in Kerala in the next few days for the benefit of those seeking admission to courses in various professional streams.
‘Looking Ahead: A Counselling Session’, is being conducted on June 18 at Kozhikode (Calicut Tower, Markaz Complex, Opposite Mofussil Bus Stand); on June 19 at Kochi (A.J. Hall, Kaloor) and on June 21 at Thiruvananthapuram (Tagore Centenary Theatre, Vazhuthacaud).
The event is meant to tell students about the dos and don’ts, the strategies, relating to the online seat allotment process conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, provide an overview of the key courses and focus on other aspects that have a bearing on course selection.
A handbook with detailed information on courses will be provided free to each participant. State Bank of Tranvancore is the presenting sponsor of the event and overseas education consultants EDEX International, Kochi, the associate sponsor. Club FM is the radio partner. Entry to these events will be on a first-come first-served basis, and students can register themselves on payment of the registration fee of Rs.50 each. Those who have opted for provisional registration will be expected to complete the registration formalities at the venue before the start of the programme.
