Chandigarh: To make lakhs of high school students in Punjab "digitally literate" by 2010, the state government has launched an ambitious computer learning project based on NCERT guidelines for VI to XII classes.
Under Centre - sponsored Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education project, the Punjab ICT Education Society (PICTES) had launched an ambitious computer learning programme for the students of class VI to XII, Punjab Education and Languages Minister Upinderjit Kaur said in an official release.
Kaur said, the department will cover the remaining 2,085 schools, which were not benefited under this project.
