Learning physics with ease

Tiruchi: The Anna Science Centre “ Planetarium here recently organized 'Fun with Physics', a programme for school students to explain certain principles in a simple manner.
In association with Vigyan Prasar, the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi utilising EDUSAT facility organized the programme, which saw the around 100 students participating from class eight, nine, ten and Plus One.

Two resource persons from Vigyan Prasar at New Delhi explained various principles in Hindi and English through video conferencing and the Centre's Project Director (in–charge) T.M. Alagiri Swamy Raju and Senior Scientific Assistant J.R. Palanisamy translated into Tamil for the students. .

In about eight principles were explained using models to enable students understand them easily that included Bernoullis Principle, Action and Reaction, Cone Runs Uphill and Mixing of Colours.

The Science Centre had earlier conducted 'Fun with Electronics' programme.
