IGNOU-NIIT to offer Executive MBA'

To meet the increasing demand for managers with necessary skills, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in collaboration with NIIT is offering ‘Executive MBA' programme which comprehensively covers all aspects of management.

For professionals

This is the third batch of the 18-month Executive MBA programme to be fully taught by the leading IT-trainer NIIT by drawing faculty from premier management institutes and industry experts.

For the benefit of working professionals, the classes would be held on weekends. This programme is recognised by the University Grants Commission and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), according to a press release from the NIIT. Those who are having three years of work experience are eligible to join the Executive MBA programme. They should be graduates in any discipline with 50 per cent marks.

Test on May 15

For reserved categories OBC/SC and ST, they should be graduates with 45 per cent marks. Admission will be based on a national-level aptitude test to be conducted on May 15 by the NIIT.

On successful completion of the course, the candidates would receive a postgraduate degree- Executive Master of Business Administration- from the IGNOU. Classes would commence in August, the press release said. Executive MBA course is ideal for those who has the desire to fast-track their careers or change careers, enhance their management skills and to develop personally/professionally.
