Global Education Interact 2009

Kolkata: A Global Education Interact was held on June 10, 2009 was organised by The Chopras, one of India's largest overseas education providers.

Attended by delegates representing universities from nine countries, The Chopras' Global Education Interact 2009 was an opportunity for students interested in overseas education to interact with the universities of their choice and receive helpful advice, under the same roof. The fair was for all prospective students - both undergraduate and postgraduate.

Representatives from 43 overseas universities arrived in India from May 30 to June 18, 2009. They are travelling through 10 cities extending their services to students who are interested in their programmes for July or September 2009 sessions. University academics were available for a personalised interaction with students, assessing their qualifications and granting or recommending admissions.

The Chopras have counselling sessions to help students decide upon the country, course and institution best suited to their academic or professional inclinations. Services in career pathway planning (copyright) to financials, accommodation, travel, foreign exchange and visas are provided. They are the sole licensee of Kaplan education services in the country offering Test prep services for GRE, GMAT, SAT, TOEFL, USMLE, MBDE and NCLEX.
