India provides Rs 33.30 million for a school in Nepal

 Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood today inaugurated a new school building constructed with an assistance of Rs 33.30 million in a western Nepalese region.
Sood inaugurated the newly constructed school building for Shree Saraswati Secondary School under Nepal-India Economic Co-operation Programme in Kailali District.
 
Established in 1969 as a primary school, it is situated in Beladevipur Village Development Committee, 12 km from Dhanghadi, the district headquarter of Kailali.
 
The Indian assistance of Nepalese Rs 33.30 million will enable the school to upgrade its physical infrastructure and it will help to create better facilities for over 1,200 students, half of whom are girls, according to an Indian Embassy press release.
 
While addressing the function, Sood underlined the importance of India-Nepal Co-operation Programme as a cornerstone of the overall relationship between the two countries
 
He also expressed hope that various development projects being implemented under the programme would help the people of Nepal in their stride towards peace and prosperity.
