The University of Madras is organising a campus recruitment drive in association with Tata Consultancy Services on March 19 and 20 at Ethiraj College.
Students who passed out during the academic year 2009-10 and appearing in their final year examinations in April 2011 from the affiliated colleges of the university can participate. B.Com / BBA / BBM / BA / MA / M.Com (all streams) and B.Sc (all streams except IT and Computer Science) students from regular stream are eligible to attend the campus interview.
Registration will start at 8 a.m. on both days, said N. Raja Hussain, director, University Students Advisory Bureau.
A TCS release said the recruitment was for transaction processing and back end support services in domains like banking, finance and accounts, market research, telecom, retail, KPO and others. Candidates should not have standing arrears and should be willing to work in night shifts and relocate to any location in the country.
The selection process will have a written aptitude test for 30-40 minutes in basic English, mathematics, logical reasoning and mental aptitude followed by group discussion, technical interview and final management round.
