The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) said it will improve playgrounds of its schools with an aim to develop all-round personality of students.
In the first phase, playgrounds of 19 schools will be developed at the cost of Rs 1crore, told MCD Education Committee Chairman Mahinder Nagpal.
"For all-round development of students of primary school, we have started implementing our sports policy. In total 150 schools will be taken up," he said.
"Playgrounds in four schools have already been developed," he informed.
Beside, to improve the environment in schools, greenery will be improved with the help of Horticulture Department, he added.
