A two-day conference, Frontiers of Science, will be held in Kolkata, on March 2 and 3, with an interface between a global pool of thinkers and eminent scientists. Organised with a view to a draw a blueprint for the role the sciences can and must play to help India attain the leadership status predicted for her in the foreseeable future, it will see the best of minds deliberate upon a host of issues.
From timely investments, actionable goals to successfully managing leading-edge technologies, it is slated to witness enthusiastic participation from across the nation and abroad. Sponsored by The Centre for Natural Sciences and Philosophy and organised by the Critical Issues Forum, Kolkata the participants will include Dr RA Mashelkar and Dr Bikash Sinha, chairman and co-chairman of Frontiers of Science respectively, Dr SK Jain, chairman and managing director, Nuclear Power Corporation of India, Dr Baldev Raj, director of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research among others.
