The annual campus recruitment process of Xavier Institute of management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) called Xuberance 2011 was a happy affair with a 100% placement record for the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Management Course.
Drawing in several first time recruiters in addition to the regular ones, the batch of 2011 saw an average salary of Rs.10.76 lakh per annum. It is noteworthy because the batch size had increased by 50% as compared to the previous batch. The median salary stood at Rs.10.3 lakhs per annum.
Many students received pre placement calls from their summer internships. OLAM International, AATCO, Cognizant, Godrej Properties, HCCBPL, Deloitte, United Spirits Ltd, HP, Tata Corp HR, Godrej & Boyce, TCS, Wipro, Axis Bank, SBI Caps, ICRA, CRISIL, JP Morgan Chase, Tata Steel, SBI are to name some of the 86 companies that participated in the placement process.
Owing to the growing brand equity of XIMB, Xuberance 2011 also witnessed many first time recruiters and recruiters visiting the college after a gap of a couple of years like Procter & Gamble, GE, Adani Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Avalon Consulting, Renault Nissan India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Citibank, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bajaj Auto, Glenmark Generics, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Panasonic, Akzonobel, Novartis, Metro Cash & Carry, HCL Technologies, Polaris, Tally Solutions, Ramco Systems to name a few.
The students were offered diverse profiles in functional domains like Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Brand Management, Marketing Analytics, Credit Rating, Corporate Banking, HR Consulting, Supply Chain Management, Production Management etc.
Several international placements with global companies like Kadence International and AATCO offering high profiles and lucrative pay packages were made. The highest international package offered was USD 32650 per annum. The highest domestic salary was Rs. 15 lakh per annum, offered by a renowned FMCG giant.
All in all, this year saw a bigger and better list of recruiters.
