Certificate course in Gandhian philosophy for prisoners

The AP Gandhian Studies Centre at Y N College  in West Godavai District is going to conduct a three-month certificate course on Gandhian philosophy for male prisoners in Rajahmundry Central jail.
   
Dr D Venkateswara Rao  Director, Gandhian studies ,Y N College Narsapur told that the UGC sponsored programme of Gandhian studies centre has been organising orientation programmes and workshops in central jail to inculcate Gandhian values in prisoners since 2007.
   
As a part of these programmes, the certificate course for the prisoners on Gandhian philosophy was inaugurated  at the central jail today.
   
The programme will be attended by peace musician Stephen Waligur, Washington DC, peace activist Dr Michael Andrew Wisconsin, USA and DIG (prisons) Chandrasekhar, In-charge Jail Superintendent Fazil Hauq and others.
