A two-day long International Conference on Digital Library Management is being organised by The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) in association with Central Secretariat library, Govt of India and Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation. Woven around the theme of “Extending Benefits of Modern Technology to Public, Academic and Special Libraries” the seminar will be held at the mini auditorium in Science City from January 11-13.
Ardhendu Sen, IAS, distinguish fellow, TERI, New Delhi and former chief secretary, Govt of West Bengal, Prof Tapan Raychoudhury, historian, former professor and director of The Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University among others will brace the inaugural session.
From virtual learning, digital library services, initiatives of public libraries to standards and policy for public library, content organisation and management, the two-day conference will cover a wide range of topics.
