Tedious waiting in long queues at employment exchanges will be a thing of past soon as the Harayana government has introduced an online registration to cater to such people.
All the services of the department, such as registration of job seekers and employers looking to fill vacancies, vocational or career guidance, disbursement of
unemployment allowance and employment market information have been made available to the public online through its website www.hrex.org, Labour and Employment Minister Mahender Pratap Singh said today.
Jobs seekers could get themselves registered online on this web portal, said Singh, adding that after registration the applicants will have to send the attested copies of their testimonials to the local employment exchange for validation of their registration.
The applicants who are already registered manually with the different employment exchanges were also required to register themselves online on this portal.
They will have to do so before February 28, 2011, otherwise it would be presumed that the applicants who have not registered themselves online were no longer in need of employment assistance through Employment Exchanges and their names would be permanently deleted, he said.
