Kalam turns nostalgic during school visit

Former president A P J Abdul Kalam today took a trip down memory lane when he visited the panchayat school at Mandapam, near here, where he studied.    
Kalam inaugurated a library and two centres for computer and science at the school.
   
The former president, who studied there eight decades ago, said his then teacher Subramania Iyer encouraged him to study well and it was his encouragement that helped Kalam to come to this level
