MCD to earmark money for nursery students for uniforms

The MCD is planning to earmark Rs 2.5 crore for children studying in nursery classes in its schools to help them buy uniforms.
The MCD education committee has decided to implement this from next academic season, officials said.
 
The civic body has 47,000 nursery students. Currently, monetary benefit is provided only to primary students who are also given Rs 500 to buy uniforms.
