Schools in Haryana shut from Jan 7-16

The education department of Haryana has announced that all schools in the state will remain closed from January 7 to 15, 2011, in view of the cold conditions prevailing across the state.

Director of Secondary Education Vijayendra Kumar said that the schools would reopen after winter vacations on January 17.
