The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, (IIMA) and the Association of Indian Management Scholars (AIMS), are jointly organising the Eighth AIMS International Conference on Management - 'Management Education in 2020:
Issues, Challenges and Opportunities', from January 1 - 4 at IIMA here.
According to an IIMA release, the Chief Guest of the conference, Jayanti Ravi, Commissioner of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat, will inaugurate the conference on January 1 at 1130 hrs at the Ravi J Matthai Auditorium, IIMA Main Campus. The
conference will feature four keynote addresses by Prof T V Rao, Prof Anuradha Basu, Prof Indira Parikh and Prof Sudarshan Iyengar.
As many as 356 scholars from the US, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia and UAE will attend the conference. A total of 68 sessions will see presentations of 280 papers on a variety of topics like Globalisation, Operations Research, Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Ethics, Strategy, Marketing, Intellectual Capital, Quality in Management Education, and many other subjects, 214 of these papers are being brought out as the Proceedings of the Conference.
