The Hindu Education Plus and AIMS Education will conduct a model exam for AIEEE on January 9 across the State. This is the sixth edition of the model exam and is aimed at improving the competence of class XII students aspiring for admission to BE and B.Tech programmes offered by prestigious national and State-level institutions.
The model exam would be based on the AIEEE format, right from distribution and standard of questions in the paper, use of OMR response sheets and electronic evaluation.
The exam would be followed by a discussion session on January 23 at Vani Mahal in Chennai.
There is no entry fee for both the events and sponsored teachers from the participating schools can also attend.
According to a press release, the toppers of the model exam would be felicitated and awarded cash prizes and certificates of merit.
AIMS Education is also offering training for the first 2,000 rankers of the Model AIEEE. P.V. Navaneethakrishnan, advisor of AIMS Education and former Director of Entrance Exams and Admission, Anna University, would be leading the resource team.
