President Pratibha Patil to attend Ranchi University?s convocation

President Pratibha Patil will attend the 25th convocation of Ranchi University and award gold medals to 36 students. She will also inaugurate the new building of the Institute of Basic Sciences and a khadi fair.

Patil is the second president to attend the Ranchi University convocation. Former President A P J Abdul Kalam had also attended the function in 2004.
