Everonn Education Limited (EEL), a city-based education service provider with a Rs.293 crore annual revenue, plans to appoint around 1,000 franchisees across the country in the next three years, said an official.
Speaking to reporters, EEL's founder and managing director P. Kishore said: "The company would be selecting 'edupreneurs' (franchisees) who will offer our entire suite of services."
"The company hopes to have around 1,000 new centres in all the 626 districts in the country as well as metros and mini-metros," he said.
According to officials, the company currently has different centres offering different services. Under the proposed scheme the franchisees can offer the entire range of services - testing, training, coaching, gaming and animation activities.
Officials told that a franchisee can break even in the second year of operation. The initial investment will be around Rs.5 million.
Kishore said the franchisees would be first or second generation businessmen. They would provide teaching content catering to students from pre-school to business school.
