India has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with ten countries for cooperation in the field of education. The countries are Botswana, Canada, Chile, Ethiopia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Norway, Oman, Turkmenistan and Vietnam.
Minister of State for Human Resource and Development (HRD) D Purandeswari, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, said, “The ministry has signed exclusive exchange programmes in the form of Educational Exchange Programme with ten countries to strengthen international cooperation in the field of education during the 11th Five Year Plan (2007-2012).”
