In a bid to ensure proper implementation of Right to Education Act, the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) has asked schools in the national capital to furnish details of admissions in the coming academic session.

The schools have also been asked provide information on proposed seats for enrollment for Class I in the upcoming academic session.

"The Commission would like to have the information in respect of children which your institution proposed to admit in Class I in the academic session 2011-12," a circular sent by it said.

Apart from Class I, the Commission has also directed the Managers and Principals of schools to submit the details of pre-school, nursery and pre-primary classes being conducted in their schools and also the number of children proposed to be enrolled in these classes in the ensuing session.
