The Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME) institute has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the State University of North Texas Denton Dallas and the Kent State University OHIO. The MoUs are aimed at building student and faculty exchange programs, collaborative cross-cultural and multi-cultural research, strong relations and developing academic and joint conferences.
Indira J Parikh, President of FLAME said, “We are dedicated to provide quality education to our students. This is a step taken towards the betterment of liberal education by merging two ideas. It will be a good journey walking together. We are known for fostering an atmosphere of close cooperation between faculty and students, creating unifying atmosphere of excellence across all faculties, teaching, research and discovery. And this is exactly what we plan to reinforce with these MoUs.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Robert G Frank, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Kent State University said, “Amalgamation of thoughts and ideas between both the institutions will certainly benefit cross cultural understanding and students at large. We are looking forward to a productive journey with our Indian counterparts.”
FLAME has also signed MOUs with the Suffolk University at Boston for collaboration on Education Projects; Jiangsu University, China for joint academic activities; SUNY Fredonia New York for enhancing both institutions’ teaching, learning and internationalisation objectives.
