Programme to help poor students crack exam

In an attempt to help deserving students from economically underprivileged sections, FIITJEE will hold ‘Fortunate 40', a programme that seeks to train such students to crack and achieve top ranks in competitive examinations such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted for admissions to the Indian Institutes of Technology.

The programme will financially support capable students currently in class VIII or X, whose parental income is below Rs.10,000 per month. FIITJEE would support the students by awarding 100 per cent scholarships for its programmes and complete waiver of hostel fee.

A selection test for students will be held on November 21. There is no registration fee for the selection test. To be eligible to be part of the ‘Fortunate 40' batch, students should clear both, the individual subject cut-off marks and the total cut-off marks, too.
