With the intention of creating job opportunities for unemployed youth, the District Industries Centre in association with Thoothukudi District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (THUDITSSIA) will organise a special job fair on December 11, according to the Collector, C.N. Maheswaran.
The unemployed youth with educational qualifications and skills could utilise the opportunity, said Dr. Maheswaran.
The recruiting companies would conduct the selection process at Subbiah Vidyalayam Girls Higher Secondary School.
The stakeholders could register for the recruitment drive with personal details including age, educational qualifications, positions of jobs, they are applying to, and others.
They could submit their resume at a registration camp slated to be held on November 22 and 23 at District Industries Centre, Tuticorin.
To suit the industrial requirements of Tuticorin, the industrial units desirous of recruiting workforce for their industries, could also volunteer themselves to register at the designated centre mentioned above.
All registrants should be present at the venue in person.
Submission of details necessary for participating in the job fair would be taken up until November 26 for those who could not make it.
