Leading research scholars from Institute of Behavioural Sciences (IBS) at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University are desperately working on possible means to bring out a novel course on Neuroscience Marketing along with XLRI, Jamshedpur.
According to institution sources, the institute officials have recently visited XLRI, Jamshedpur, and took part in a seminar on application of psychological tools and neurosciences in marketing.
While marketing depends on consumer behaviour and psychological tools, officials at IBS want to take it a step further to study what makes a consumer think in a particular way and predict a pattern that can be used to design marketing campaigns and product placement. Officials said that if successful, the field can bring about revolutionary change the way markets function.
