IT parks to be started in seven cities in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu government would start IT Parks in seven cities, Minister for IT Poongothai Aladi Aruna said here.

The IT parks would be come up in Coimbatore, Salem, Trichirapalli, Tirunelveli, Hosur and Vellore. The decision on starting one more park would taken soon, she said inaugurating a three-day computer fair here.
 
She said IT network has been introduced in interior villages.
 
Five computers were given freely to schools in tribal areas of Sathyamangalam and Erode forest divisions.
