Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)of Singapore and the National Institute of Technology-Rourkela (NIT-R) signed a MOU to avail greater global exposure to students and faculty staff in IT outsourcing, cultural and business landscape in India.
NIT-Rourkela director, Prof Sunil Kumar Sarangi and NP's school of Infocomm Technology, Angela Wee signed the MOU at the NIT campus here.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic is one of the Singapore's leading institutions of higher learning offering both business-related and technology-based diploma and advanced diploma programmes.
The MOU will provide the students and staff to exchange and understand the various aspects of both the countries.
The NP has sent its first batch of 26 students with two lecturers from its school of infocomm technology to NIT-R for five-week programme, NIT sources said.
