McADROIT 10 successfully comported by Easwari Engineering college

"McADRIOT 10", 5th national level technical symposium was successfully comported recently by Department of Mechanical Engineering of Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram.
Inaugurating the symposium Dr.B. Shivkumar, Managing Director of Shivas Systems Private Ltd., emphasised the importance of developing the attitude, skill set, determination and mindset to become a successful human being.

In his presidential address, the Principal Dr. K. Abdul Ghani highlighted the importance of knowledge development. The Vice-principal Dr. K. Kathiravan stated the significant role of mechanical engineers in the society.

With hundreds of participants from various engineering colleges and universities, technical events such as CAD contest, workshop modeling, technical quiz, RC Nitro Car, Sumobot and other events such as Adzap, Shipwreck, and treasure hunt were part of the symposium.

Apart from this students also presented papers in various fields of Mechanical Engineering such as Automobile Engineering, Thermal Engineering, CAD/CAM and Manufacturing Technology. Students of Adhiyaman Engineering College and Sri Sairam Engineering College bagged the best papers.

In addition, a working model of a formula one racing car, fabricated from the old and worn out scrap parts for a cost of Rs.5000 and an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) designed by the third year Mechanical Engineering students were amongst the crowd pullers.

On this occasion an annual magazine and Souvenir McADROIT â€™10 was released.
