Jamshedpur-based Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) will soon set up its branch in Hyderabad.
XLRI Director E Abraham and Dean (Administration and Finance) C L George today met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah and informed him about the plan.
Rosaiah had written to XLRI governing body on August 18 requesting it to set up a campus in Hyderabad and promised al support from the government.
The XLRI governing board approved the proposal, the Director told the Chief Minister and sought 75 acres of land for setting up the campus.
Rosaiah said the required land would be allotted at Jawahar Nagar, close to BITS Pilani.
Started in 1949 at Jamshedpur, XLRI is one of the premier management institutes in the country.
