The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government is considering tabling two important education bills during the winter session of the Parliament which will commence in October. This was said during a press conference held by V Narayanswamy, Union Minister of State for Planning and Parliamentary Affairs.
These education bills deal with the entry of foreign varsities in India and controlling capitation fees in educational institutions. Narayanswamy also said that these bills are currently being assessed by a parliamentary standing committee before being tabled in the Parliament.
