Chennai Business School today signed an MoU with Curtin Business School, Perth, Australia for enrichment and experience of knowledge between the two B-Schools.
The signing of the MoU is part of Curtin's commitment to developing closer relationships with Indian institutions for teaching, research and student exchange.
The pact also provides faculty training programs and cross-university visits. Explaining the salient features of the agreement, Mr Pradip K Mohapatra, Governing Council member, Chennai Business School said, "Our students will be exposed to Curtin University's Curriculum and their pedagogy, so that students' horizon will expand and they will be more ready to take on the business world." Dr Kerry Pedigo, Academic Director, Curtin Business School, said, "It is a momentous occasion to sign a Pact with Chennai Business School.
We see high synergies between the two B Schools in terms of imparting real life learning to the students." She said Curtin Business School is widely recognised for its practical and applied courses, which equip graduates with essential skills through exposure to industry and business, and with research programs, which focus on solving real world problems.
This combination enables the graduates to be effective in the workplace immediately upon graduation and foster successful partnerships with industry, business and government.
Dr Kerry further said she has had a clear understanding of the learning needs and career aspirations of Chennai Business School students, and of the teaching practices best suited to the cultural and lifestyle here.
