Chennai-based education services firm Everonn Business Education Limited (EBEL) is planning to open 500 Indigrow Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS) centres by 2015. The company would invest Rs 1 crore in each centre.
Launching its IIPS centre here on Monday, KSN Sukumaran, vice-president EBEL, said, “As of now EBEL has 65 IIPS centres across the country. We are planning to double the existing number by 2011.â€
IIPS, a full-time business management institute, offers MBA, BBA and executive MBA degrees through classroom teaching and VSAT technology, where the ratio is 70:30. The course fee ranges between Rs 1.75 lakh and Rs 3.1 lakh.
“In the Hyderabad centre, 180 students will be enrolled for the current year and plans are there to open IIPS in other cities of Andhra Pradesh,†Sukumaran added.
EBEL has tied up with Retailers Association of India for placements. MS University Tirunelveli, will issue the certificates.
